Our first year goals with Highland are to:
While greening up lawns and landscaping
We met with the city to review company details and key uses and benefits of SoilMix and WaterMix for:
Secondary Water Treatment & Algae Control
Direct Applications on Lawn
With the cities goals in mind, we developed an idea of how to move forward together, for water savings and fertilizer reduction.
Our team answered City Council and Citizen questions on 7/7/2020. We discussed:
Our local team and production facilities for fresh product.
Options for services or self-serve applications.
Budgets and Options.
We found an area of city land, where the Parks team sectioned off treated and untreated areas. Testing is for soil composition plus water and fertilizer reductions.
We just got started at the end of the year, but there was enough time for two treatments before it got too cold. Our product slows down until it freezes, but has been working and will work until the soil is frozen.
We'll treat a couple of times on the test plot at the beginning of the year and see results early in the season.
Should results yield what is typical for this application type, we'll move forward to one of two program options.
We treat the pond that feeds the cities irrigation, enabling:
We'll provide product for the team at Highland to treat City land and parks directly, saving the City money on fertilizer and water.
Year one fertilizer savings for the City alone are estimated at $15,000.
SoilMix and WaterMix by Natura Solve are all natural, certified organic and approved by the EPA for all water and land applications.
Our products are kid and pet safe, safe for bees and aquatic life, with the exception of mosquito (which are not typical in treated areas - we eliminate larval food sources in water and stagnant areas.
SoilMix is approved for use and certified for use on organic farms. Our products are used by farm-to-table operations, meaning foods and herbs on treated soil are safe.
Just mix with water at recommended rates and apply directly with hand sprayers, sprinklers or truck mounted sprayers; through pressurized irrigation and ponds.
Other than being a bit sticky if you spill it, there's no special training or licensing to use SoilMix or WaterMix. We don't recommend it, but it's not toxic if ingested and doesn't have any known medical or environmentally harmful side effects in decades of use.
When people's plants and lawn are green, they tend to water less. In addition to the Cities potential savings, ease restrictions in your area by having a program with Natura Solve. We can even set your City up with a coupon code of your choice, to engage and enable residents to add to their application or uses.
Even though water is in short supply, residents have spent a lot and continue to maintain, their landscaping at a great cost to them. Help keep their spaces green, your parks in great shape and city lawns at their best, even with less water and fertilizer.
Natura Solve is a woman led, Utah owned business.
