The Treatment Plan (Home & Garden)

The Basic Treatment Cycle consists of two phases: the Build-up Phase and the Enhancement Phase. 

During the Build-up phase our goal is to facilitate the growth of healthy bacteria in your soil. Over the course of 6-9 weeks you’ll apply three separate treatments of SoilMix to your lawn or garden. The bacteria will increase the soil’s capacity to retain water, so you will be able to decrease watering by 30-50% after the Build-up phase.

The Enhancement phase is like maintenance. We want to preserve the growth of healthy bacteria in the soil, to continue seeing the healthy growth of your plants. We recommend 2 to 3 applications during the Enhancement phase.

Instructions (Home & Garden):

Combine 1.4-3 oz SoilMix (or a couple tablespoons) with 10 gallons of water. This will be enough to cover about 10,000 square feet, or about a quarter acre. Use a hand or backpack sprayer to apply mixture to your lawn or garden or add to irrigation or drip system. Venturi pumps can be used for drip system or pivot applications.

Pour out any unused, mixed product after 2-3 days of being in a bottle or container. Do not store in direct sunlight.

On the third application the ratio of SoilMix to water will decrease from 1.4 oz per 10 Gallons to 1 oz per 10 gallons. You can’t overdo it, so don’t be too worried about any extra use.
